This saturday I gave a friend a diptych: an underwater photo he took and a work of mine based on his photo, framed on a square 23x23 cm ikea frame. It came out really neat, but I forgot to make a photo out of it... So I'm posting just one of many sponge tryouts before going final. I used scissors to cut a sponge into a round shape that would allow me to build, using several different values and shades of violet, a thick under water rope on a yellow watercolour background.
Maybe I'll make a copy of it for myself soon.
