This is my second attempt to do something tonight I like. It took 2 hours it came out very satisfactory. I just don't like the expressionist (Van Gogh?) overtone.
This was supposed to be my rough painting of the day, but at the end I just put too much attention in getting the fish color right (titan pink + burnt sienna + grey from black and white). The plate came out too delicate for my intentions. The pointillism was done at the end, out of spite, or "spice".
I've also noticed now that the fish needs to bend into the bowl. Oh well... let's just say it's frozen. I'll fix it later.
