I needed to get rid of some leftover paint. So I came up with this Kandinskish thing. I had also this big headache. Due to some heavy drinking, needless to say. The lines were something I was practicing with since last night, when I read something about Joan Mitchell and the difficulties about representing or communicating nothing, leaving the interpretation to the viewer.
Technique wise, the colors are far from what I think they should be for this art style (they were leftovers). At the last stage of filling up "slots" I realized that I was missing some sort of horizon and that too many complementary colors were crashing up against each other. Besides there were many hue discrepancies (again, leftovers) among the red-yellow range (ocher and sienna included). So I decided to do some adjustments in photoshop, in case I go for a more serious attempt on the subject later:
